Why Use Cookies?
By setting a cookie, we enable users to access their account information and resources in the WorkTree job portal
without having to log in every time.
Are Cookies Safe?
We don't give your cookie information to other organizations and no one else has access to it. A cookie cannot
be used to extract information from your system. For added security, much of the information in your cookie is encrypted.
How Can I Tell If My Cookies Are On?
First, click here COOKIE TEST, to determine if
cookies are already enabled on your browser. If they are not enabled,
then simply follow the step by step instructions below to enable them on the browser that you are using.
Enabling Cookies in Internet Explorer (General)
- From Internet Explorer, select Tools, Options, and click on the Security tab.
- Click on the Internet zone, then click on Custom Level.
- Scroll down to Cookies and click within the Enable radio buttons
beneath Allow cookies that are stored on your computer and Allow per-session cookies (not stored).
- Click on OK. When asked if you really want to change security levels, choose Yes. Click on OK
again to return to Internet Explorer.
For Internet Explorer 6:
- Click the Tools button on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Next, select Internet Options.
- Click on the Privacy Tab
- You will see a vertical scroll bar.
- Click and drag the marker to the bottom, when you do this a message will appear on the right stating something like "Accept All Cookies"
- Click the "Apply" button so that it takes effect. You might need to restart the browser.
For Internet Explorer 5:
- Click the Tools button on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Next, select Internet Options.
- Click on Security.
- Click on Custom Settings... (you may have to click on Default Level first).
- Scroll down until you see "Cookies."
- Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable."
For Internet Explorer 4:
- Click the View button on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Next, select Internet Options.
- Click on Advanced.
- Scroll down until you see "Cookies."
- Select Always accept cookies.
Enabling Cookies in Internet Explorer 4.x for Macintosh
- From Internet Explorer, select Preferences from the Edit
menu.
- Click on the option Receiving files, and click on
Cookies.
- On the right side of the window, next to When receiving cookies:, make sure that either Never
ask, Ask for each site, or Ask for each cookie is selected.
- Click on OK.
Enabling Cookies in Netscape
- From Netscape, select Edit, then choose Preferences.
- Select Advanced from the menu on the left side of the Preferences window.
- On the right side of the window, click within either the Accept all cookies radio button or
the Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server.
- Click on OK to return to Netscape.
For AOL, version 6.0:
- Click on Settings>Preferences.
- Click on Internet Properties.
- Click on Security.
- Click on Custom Level... (you may have to click on Default Level first).
- Scroll down until you see "Cookies."
- Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable."
For AOL, version 5.0 or earlier:
- Click on My AOL at the top of the screen.
- Click on WWW in the left column.
- Click on Advanced Settings ...
- In the left column, under Receiving Files, click on Cookies.
- Next to "When receiving cookies:" choose "Never ask."
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
